Lucky Girls is happy to announce their win in the Girl Effect's Video Contest: "How I'm Unleashing the Girl Effect." The Girl Effect  is a world-wide campaign led by the Nike Foundation to help girls in developing countries gain education. In March, 2011, Lucky Girls made it as one of three finalists in their international girl-focused video contest.

Lucky Girls received the most votes: 472 Facebook Votes, 137 comments on Facebook, and 26 tweets. We even got the vote of Nia Vardalos & Kalomira!

By winning, Lucky Girls has been placed permanently on The Girl Effect's YouTube Channel which has received over 2 million views! Thank you to everyone who voted!
